To
locals and foreigners, the name Lehnert & Landrock is strongly
identified with photographs of the 20th Century Egypt. For almost
the entire century, Lehnert, Landrock and their Lambelet successors
have created and expanded the most widely covered archive of glass
plates and black and white photographs. "Egypt 1920",
produced jointly by CULTNAT and Lehnert & Landrock, features
over 1200 pictures thematically sorted out. "Egypt 1920"
is the first product in a series of CD-ROMs focused on the Photographic
Heritage of Egypt. Navigate "Egypt 1920" to discover
what cities looked like, artisans and people activities, portraits,
scenes of daily life in addition to Islamic and Coptic monuments
seen through the eyes of contemporaries.
